By adding BotWave to your Telegram group, channel, or by using any BotWave feature, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the bot. These terms apply to all users including group owners, administrators, and regular members.
If you also use BotWave Labs (labs.botwave.online), separate terms apply at labs.botwave.online/terms.
BotWave is a Telegram group management and automation bot providing over 488 commands across moderation, AI assistance, engagement, utility, fun, tools, and channel management. The service includes a mini app dashboard accessible within Telegram, a public website at botwave.online, and an optional WhatsApp companion bot.
A free plan is available with core features. Paid plans may be offered in the future for advanced features and higher limits.
You agree to use BotWave only for lawful purposes and in compliance with Telegram's Terms of Service. You must not:

BotWave includes AI-powered features such as an AI assistant, AI moderation, AI quizzes, AI summaries, AI text styling, and AI image generation. AI responses are generated by third-party providers (Groq, Gemini, Pollinations.ai) and may be inaccurate, biased, or unexpected. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it. BotWave is not liable for damages caused by AI-generated responses.
BotWave provides moderation tools that group owners and admins can configure. The bot may automatically warn, mute, ban, or kick users based on configured rules. Decisions made by the bot or by group admins using the bot are the responsibility of the group owner, not BotWave.
The global ban federation feature propagates bans across linked groups. If your account is banned in one group that uses federation, you may be automatically banned in other linked groups. You can appeal a ban through the /appeal command or by contacting the group owner.
Your use of BotWave is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the bot, you consent to the data collection and processing practices described there.
BotWave is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The bot may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, Telegram API changes, infrastructure issues, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime.
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without prior notice. Free features may become paid features in the future. We will announce significant changes in our support chat, but we are not obligated to provide advance notice for all changes.
If you connect the WhatsApp companion bot, you are responsible for complying with WhatsApp's Terms of Service and the WhatsApp Business Policy. BotWave's WhatsApp integration is a companion service that forwards commands between WhatsApp and Telegram. Session data is encrypted and stored only on our server.
The BotWave bot, mini app, website content, commands, features, and design are the intellectual property of BotWave. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without written permission.
The bot's name, logo, and branding may not be used without permission. Group owners may use the bot within their groups but may not represent themselves as affiliated with or endorsed by BotWave.
You retain ownership of content you create using BotWave (such as custom welcome messages, rules, notes, and broadcast text). By submitting content through the bot, you grant BotWave a license to process and display that content within your group and the mini app dashboard for the purpose of operating the service.
You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
BotWave is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the bot will be error-free, secure, or function without interruption. We do not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or reliable. Use of the bot is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BotWave shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of group members, reputational damage, or any other damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of BotWave shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero if you are using the free plan.
You can stop using BotWave at any time by removing the bot from your groups. We may suspend or terminate access to the bot for any user who violates these terms. We may also terminate the service entirely with or without notice.
Upon termination, your group settings and configurations will be retained for a period but may be deleted upon request.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our server is hosted. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through the appropriate legal channels.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of BotWave after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
