Data We Collect

BotWave collects the following data to provide its services:

• Group configuration: Settings you configure via commands or the mini app (welcome messages, rules, filters, locks, etc.)
• User statistics: Message counts, XP, karma, trust scores, and warning history per user per group
• Moderation logs: Records of admin actions (bans, mutes, warnings) for audit purposes
• Profile metadata: Usernames and display names for tracking changes (SangMata feature)

Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not store the content of your messages
• We do not read or log private conversations
• We do not sell or share data with third parties

Data Retention

Group configuration and user statistics are retained as long as the bot is active in your group. When you remove the bot, configuration data is deleted within 30 days.

Your Rights

You can request deletion of your data by contacting us in the support group at @botwaveforgechat.
