Creating and Scheduling Posts

Telegram channels are powerful broadcast tools, but managing them manually is tedious. You have to be online at the right time to post, format messages consistently, and remember to include the same buttons and links every time. BotWave's channel post system automates this workflow. The /post command sends a formatted post to your channel immediately, with full support for bold, italic, links, and inline buttons. The /schedulepost command lets you queue a post for a future time, so you can plan your content calendar in advance and let the bot publish on schedule.

For channels that publish multiple posts per day, the multi-post feature lets you create several posts at once and schedule them in sequence. This is particularly useful for news channels that publish updates throughout the day, or for content creators who batch-produce posts during a dedicated work session and want them spaced out over the week. The /myposts command shows all your saved and scheduled posts, and /delpost removes one if plans change.

Auto-Forwarding to Multiple Chats

Many communities operate across multiple channels and groups — a main channel, a discussion group, and perhaps regional or topical sub-channels. Manually forwarding every post to each destination is repetitive and error-prone. The auto-forward system handles this automatically. When enabled with /forward on, every post you publish in the source channel is automatically forwarded to your configured target chats. You set the targets with /forwardtargets, specifying chat IDs or usernames separated by commas.

This creates a syndication network where your content reaches multiple audiences without any additional effort. A news channel can forward to a discussion group for comments, a business can forward product announcements to a customer support group, and a content creator can forward to partner channels. The forwarding happens instantly and transparently — the forwarded message appears in the target chat as a native post, not as a forwarded copy, so it looks natural to the receiving audience.

Auto-Complete Signatures and Buttons

Consistency is key to a professional channel presence. The auto-complete system ensures that every post — even those written manually without using the bot's post command — automatically gets your signature appended. The /signature command sets the text that is added to the end of every post, and /resetsig removes it. This is useful for adding a standard footer with your channel name, social media links, or a call to action that you want on every piece of content.

The auto-buttons feature works similarly — you configure a set of inline buttons that are automatically attached to every post. This could include a "Join our group" button, a "Visit our website" link, or a "Share this post" button. Rather than manually adding these buttons to each post, you set them once and they appear on every post automatically, saving time and ensuring nothing is forgotten.

Channel Welcome and Subscriber Management

When a new subscriber joins your channel, the channel welcome system sends them a personalized greeting via direct message. The /chwelcome command toggles this feature, and /setchwelcome defines the welcome text. Similarly, /chgoodbye and /setchgoodbye handle the farewell message when someone leaves. Both welcome and goodbye messages can be sent via DM or publicly, depending on your preference.

The channel join filter system adds a layer of security by screening new subscribers. You can set the filter to automatically approve or block new subscribers based on criteria like trust score, username, and profile photo. The /chjoinfilter command toggles the filter, and /joinmode sets whether to approve or block. This prevents bot accounts and trolls from subscribing to your channel and keeps your subscriber count genuine.

Channel Analytics and Settings

The /chanalytics command provides detailed analytics for your channel, including subscriber growth, post engagement, reaction counts, and view statistics. The /chsubscribercount command shows your current subscriber count, and /chengagement measures how actively your subscribers interact with your posts through reactions and forwards.

Channel settings are comprehensive: /chreactions sets default reaction emojis for posts, /cheventlog configures an event log chat, /chlang sets the channel language, /chtimezone sets the timezone for scheduling, and /chdelivery controls whether messages are delivered publicly or privately. The /chsettings command shows an overview of all channel settings in one place.
